This deposit is transferable to another week in BC within the same calendar year only. **TRAVEL NOTE - if you will be flying into Spokane, WA and require the shuttle service, please book your flight to arrive into Spokane before 1:00pm on the Saturday program start date, and depart the following Saturday after 1:00pm. Castlegar airport arrivals and departures can be made any time on the Saturday arrival and departure dates.

Mountain Trek respects your privacy. We will never release your information to any outside party.

What you will Experience:

Mountain Trek Fitness Retreat & Health Spa program include the following in our healthy lifestyle programs:

  • Daily guided hikes
  • Daily morning yoga and evening fitness classes
  • Organic, calorie controlled spa cuisine with flexibility for food preferences
  • Minimum 3-4 guided hiking groups each day to accommodate individual fitness levels
  • High staff to guest ratio to ensure individual attention
  • 3 – 50 minute therapeutic massages in our Reboot Program
  • 8 – 50 minute therapeutic massages in our Renewal Program
  • 8 Health and Lifestyle lectures
  • 2 Body Composition assessments
  • Spa facilities including infrared sauna, wet/dry saunas, steam room and outdoor Jacuzzi
  • Evening access to local hot springs pools and facilities
  • Program manual and cookbook


What we Provide:

  • Personal products (shampoo/conditioner/soap, hair dryer, bath robe)
  • Hiking gear (use of backpacks and trekking poles)
  • Heart rate monitor and personal hydration unit (yours to keep)
  • Personal daily laundry service
  • Private room and ensuite bathroom; 2 shared rooms for couples
  • King, Queen, Double, and Twin size beds are assigned appropriately depending on guest size, couples, and first-come first-serve.
  • Wireless computer and cell reception
  • Transportation to and from airports on Saturdays

Each week is limited to a maximum of 16 guests, creating an intimate group setting that fosters support and motivation. Extra services are available upon request.

  • Guests who land in Spokane, Washington or Castlegar, BC receive a complimentary shuttle to the Lodge.
  • Guests who land in San Diego receive a complimentary shuttle to Rancho La Puerta.
  • Weight loss retreats program fees are deductible through the IRS, with a doctor’s prescription.
  • Prices are subject to applicable taxes.

Suitability

The Mountain Trek Program is very structured and active. For optimum benefit, full participation is required.

Please review the following checklist to determine if our fitness retreat & health spa program in is a good fit for you:

  • I am able to climb 4 flights of stairs without being unduly winded.
  • I am able to participate in a 2 hour gentle hike on undulating terrain while carrying a 5-10lb daypack.
  • I have no known medical/physical conditions that would interfere with daily participation.
  • All our guests are required to sign a waiver and release of liability form before starting their Program with us.
  • As our activities take place in remote locations, sometimes without quick access to medical help, these activities may be hazardous and require acknowledgement of risk by our guests.
  • We do not permit possession or use of tobacco products anywhere on our property.



Payment Terms

  • A non refundable $200 deposit per person per week is required to reserve your space in your selected Program. Balance is due upon arrival. We suggest reserving early as we can only accommodate a maximum of 16 guests.
  • Upon receipt of your deposit, we will send you a confirmation email detailing the information we require as a part of your completed reservation (medical form, personal information, fitness profile, travel information). You will also be provided with a packing list and pre-arrival information.
  • You pay for the Program in either Canadian (CD$) or (US$) dollars depending on location. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and AMEX. Note for our American/International guests: CD$ charges will be converted by your credit card company at the best exchange rate to your currency.
  • All our prices are quoted PER PERSON.
  • The cost of the full Program includes: private room w/bathroom; all meals and snacks; daily personal laundry service; all the activities prescribed for your Program; three (50 minute) massages each week; use of on site amenities, daypacks and hiking poles; gift of a heart rate monitor, water bladder and handbook; and transfers between Castlegar, Spokane, or San Diego airport to the spa on Saturdays only at standard times (please check with the reservation staff about our driving schedule).
  • Extra massages and activities are available for additional cost.
  • Airfare to Spokane, Castlegar or San Diego is not included.
  • Taxes are not included.
  • We reserve the right to offer occasional online discounts.

Cancellation Policy

Deposits and Program fees are non refundable. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PURCHASE OF CANCELLATION INSURANCE in the event that you are unable to fully complete your Program. If you require assistance arranging your cancellation insurance, we recommend that you call Karen or Shelley at Totem Travel, toll free 1-866-364-1254 (direct 1-250-364-1254).
 Refunds or credits are not given for early departures from or delayed arrivals to a Program for any reason. Refunds or credits are not given for the inability to complete a Program. Refunds or credits are not given for prepaid activities booked in advance if they are available but not taken during the Program.
